Looking at mac online stores, most are offering a $50 rebate on the new macbooks. Amazon looks like the king of rebates and is offering $100 rebate, achieving that subthousand dollar sticker price on the least expensive model(which remains at the top of the list). Makes me think that there is some room on the pricing here from Apple and that student discounts might bring in that subthousand dollar price that many have been talking about(Apple's education store already has a price on the macbooks of $1049 for the least expensive model).

Bundles with windows installed on some of the online stores.

Seems like Apple had a better stock of these for this product introduction. Shipping dates at the Apple store have not changed and some of the online stores still have some models available, just not all(with the black model being the one that is out of stock most often).
