Any other ideas?<< John - I believe that Boot Camp includes a software utility that allows you to partition your hard drive without destroying the existing partition. There is also a nice utility called Drive Genius, from Prosoft Engineering. It enables "on-the-fly" partitioning of your Mac hard drive and does many other useful things, for a reasonable price. prosofteng.com FYI, Prosoft also makes a product called Data Rescue which I have used to recover files from a damaged volume. Very handy. Both Drive Genius and Data Rescue can take a very long time to run, btw. And of course, it's always a good idea to have a backup in case something goes wrong. - Allen
