Well, Stan, I guess if it were true, the people who compiled the Bible would have agreed with you. Maybe that would have something to do with the lack of information about Jesus's childhood? It would "dilute" the message?
Even so, I don't fully understand the controversy, except for the implied criticism of the Catholic church. I doubt any would deny that Jesus was a person, and as such, lived as the people around him did, ate what they ate, slept when they slept, and had the normal bodily functions of any other person. So, I don't think it would be unusual for a man of his age to have a wife. To the contrary, he might have been looked at a bit askance if he did NOT take an interest in women. |
