I just brought up the post because of the righteous indignation you demonstrated to Elroy. You get all offended when he compares the number of deaths in Iraq to the number of deaths due to car accidents. But it's OK for you to compare the number of deaths on 9/11 to the number of deaths due to the flu.

When I first read Al's post, I took it to mean that while 9/11 was bad, it needs to be put into its proper perspective. For an example, it was not a Pearl Harbor, and yet, it has been used to justify the killing of over 100K people and the maiming of countless more. It has prompted a never ending war in the ME and the loss of a considerable amount of respect and prestige this country carried in the world. Pearl Harbor justified the declaration of war against Japan; by no reasonable measure does 9/11 justify what has ensued since that tragedy.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Inadvertently, I saw Al's response to this post. And he's right........you have no room to call someone else hypocritical. I can think of no greater hypocrisy than someone who loves Jesus and still supports Bush and the Iraqi war. Having said that, I also realize that its an issue between you and your maker.
