The point is not to get out or get set for getting out The point is being fully present Here and Now within the self we are. But until we are ready for even this basic truth 10,000 others catch our eye and our desire and fill our need and all these words are just words. And that is absolutely fine. Not much complicated about it except the effort required to attain it and THAT effort IS the work EACH of us ALONE must do. Ironic because ultimately alone is the last thing we are and a further discovery we open to. Words, so many words on this thread that purports to be about a fresh perspective on the almighty we know so much already, our knowledge increases and what of wisdom... Action is better. When it comes to self awareness beyond the everyday physical, mental and emotional it boils down to checking up and doing our work, period. As we do we boil down like maple sap to syrup becoming the sweetness sought for but so often- as your reading points out- overlooked. See my Joseph Campbell quote on participation for more insight. Are we spiritual maschists at heart? We do love our dichotomies and drama Until we become Alchemists of the human heart Life and our experiences are our feedback. Pretty simple really. Profound once we really get it. Words will NEVER contain the essence of this truth though, nor will thought. So it goes. It is within and we search everywhere but within until we start to see.
