Zona got about $60 million on recent 2ry offering, not
bad for promoters, maybe they can swallow HVSF which is
chronically cash strapped ($0 cash) and give Vvus a fight
I do not believe in any patents, only in the money making
companies (look at recents NXTR-LIPO,GE-Fonar, MSFT-AAPl
patent fights).

Vivus can adquire Zona, but better now than before FDA approval
(unlikely after the redux, phen-fen debacle) but still in
the realm of posible. All their studies have been FDA controlled
and the FDA suggested then to do the 80 mg dose, just in case
a patient decides to dose himself double. Probably the FDA will
not approved then base on lack of effectiveness instead of safety.
The product does not shows great effectiveness, especially some
percentange reduction betweeen the mexican (42%)and the US (37%)
studies statistically they claimed no difference. I have not look
in detail (I do not own it anymore).

Zona is planning now a mixture of a phosphodiesterase inhibitor
and phentolamine (purple vision plus hypotension). Not a fat chance.

Maybe Vivus can look for other small biotechs with good technology
and little cash out of the ED field. My favorite NTII. good science,
no cash, market value less than one quarter Vivus sales. Well now I am
far flying ideas (like Charlie).
