If you stop at Boston Scientific Corp.'s BPH booth at this week's AUA annual meeting, you won't get a pen. But you could help make a child's wish come true. For every physician who stops at the company's booth, Boston Scientific will make a $25 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $25,000.

"We're very excited about this," said Michele Fasano, principal product manager for the company's BPH division. "We have a lot going on at the meeting, but this is the cherry on top."

"We wanted to do something unique," said Evan Brasington, vice president of marketing, urology and women's health. "A donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation affects specific children directly."

Registered attendees of the AUA meeting were sent mailings that contained coupons called "dream dollars," which they can turn in at the Boston Scientific BPH booth (#923) to register their donation. Doctors can also just swipe their "expo card" if they don't have their dream dollars. Every time a doctor makes a donation, a ticker will increase and the doctor's name will appear on a video screen.
