Kudos to kemble.

He made a ton of money on the stock, and when it became apparent that his initial thesis was no longer valid, he sold the stock, probably at a loss of maybe 50% from the highs, but a long, long ways from his cost.

That is hard to do, hard enough that most people cannot bring themselves to do it.
