This is another may bite you in the ass bug I just found.

In this message I put the <img src with the correct quotes .... inside a pre tag and the pre was ignored. But it's only ignored on a post that has at least one valid <img src with the correct quotes outside of the pre tags.

It points to a lack of recursive parsing in the SI code.
