There's a parallel to the movie "Fargo". Just like Brown's book, at the beginning of the movie there's text that says something to the effect that this movie is based on events that actually happened. But that is not true. Nothing remotely like the events depicted in the movie ever happened. I don't know if these guys are just messing with your mind or they have a serious message that you should not believe ANYTHING you see or read.
