Yes, Parallels is just an application, just like Boot Camp. Both of them require subsequent installing of another operating system. Boot Camp accepts the install of only Windows XP, on a single disk. Parallels accepts all Windows, DOS, Linux, etc., as I already posted.
In any case, installing either or both Parallels and Boot Camp is Step One. Step Two is installing whatever system one wishes to use besides OS X.
Simply put, no "real" difference, in terms of install difficulty. |
