yes real estate is stretched in the u.s. way beyond that in japan.

take the aggregate value of all real estate in the u.s. and divide it by sustainable annual income after all imbalances in the economy have been worked out. that means most mortgage brokers and real estate agents have to trade in their guccis for work boots.

compare that number to japan.
