I may be mistaken but I thought I pointed out that it was only partially done when implemented.

We're not really the kind of shop (employee-wise) and I'm not the kind programmer that really works well with the whole "design by committee of non-programming, non-message board folks", "assign to a developer", "Q&A the hell out of it", "feature creep it to death", "roll out 6 months after starting the project" model.

As I've said before, this isn't kidney dialysis and it's no biggie to have some problems here and there with a new feature. Even a lot of problems with something that's just barely implemented.

If I couldn't fly by the seat of my pants and fix/tweak it along the way, I couldn't work as a programmer, and 90% of the features we have wouldn't exist.

So, don't worry. Be happy. We'll eventually have it working solidly and cover all possible inputs so that people can't screw it up if they can't keep their use of it simple and correct.

Another way to look at it is if I put in the time to make sure a new feature works 100% of the way and handles every single mistake I can imagine a user making in their use of it before I roll anything out, it'd not only take forever to incorporate simple features, it'd be an exercise in futility because, as a friend of mine is fond of saying "There's no sense in trying to make anything foolproof because fools are infinitely resourceful." <g>
