Folks like these guys make it easier: hbpfunds.com In general, I think it is slightly safer to short the tops, since the predominant move is down and therefore any mistakes in timing will be remedied by time. Buying the bottoms and selling, OTOH, is all about impeccable timing. BTW, Faber says gold will do well LT, and I agree, but aside from a little relief rally perhaps I don't see how we have a repeat of the strong move Dec-Apr anytime soon.
