No worries, guys, but thanks. Granted, I might've taken the comments a bit personally and it probably showed, but it wasn't that big a deal to me. I just wanted to point out the kind of operation we are. You can have nimble, with features getting rolled out quickly and often (I've been too busy to do much along those lines lately), but often with bugs (that DO get addressed in due course, unlike some sites), or you can have the slow, plodding kind of operation where nothing really gets done because it gets discussed and QA'd to death.

We're the former. It's why I do this for a living instead of working for a big corporation as a drone in a cubicle. Been there, done that. Programming that's fun is the best kind of play.

Is SI profitable now? Does it earn enough money to continue being a viable entity far into the future with the limited adds you have?

I'm reluctant to answer that one because when one constantly has one's hand out, it's best to act andlook needy, but....

Oh, yeah. :) Of course, I'd always rather do better. Good enough isn't good enough. But we're doing quite well and have been for a long time. I have zero worries about the continuation of the site. Most of my worries (and they don't quite keep me up nights) are more along the lines of heading off future competition and hoping the hardware, that's about an hour away from here, keeps humming along.
