I don't think Gould ever wrote a book. All I have are 3 pamphlets from his work. I threw my "Findings and Forecasts" away over the years. Now that Jerry Favors is dead, there is one less person that uses Gould.

jerryfavors.com

You can see his mention of it on his site.

Much of Gould's work was stretched in the 1990s to the point that it is not useful now. However, the basics still work. Although Gould studied the markets and people over the decades, I'm sure he was drawn back to the common phrase:

"Three steps forward, two steps back."

How many times have we heard that phrase? Its possible that most people have said it once. Add 3 and 2 and we get 5.

Dow Theory cannot escape the truth of that phrase. Elliot Wave cannot either. Even Fibonnaci validated 2, 3, and 5.

Simplicity is good.
