"makes one wonder WHY the National guard are sent to the Southern USA border at this time?" How would that help stop the infiltration of islamofaschists? They are not indigenous to Mexico. They would simply switch to a different border. It is not like our "friends" to the North have been cooperative in preventing "tourists" to pass through their country in route to the US.
