Law firms often give the most to democrats. It's no surprise that one out of 1000 big lawfirms in the country is corrupt. In fact probably quite a few of them are. It's also impossible for a nation-wide campaign to avoid something like this. checks come in from everywhere and they can't do background checks on everyone, if anyone.

Kerry has never and would never offer to or trade legislative favors with any contributor. That's the big difference between Kerry and the Bush-Delay-Frist-Abramoff world. The Repubs literally put for sale signs on congress and let the lobbyists buy their way in to write up bills to make billions and billions for themselves.
