Your fire for the Democrats is admirable ... and I'd never vote for a Republican. Kerry would be an excellent President. I agree with you in spades. In fact, he should be President right now. I think Gore has a better chance in 2008. If he'd won his own damn home state in 2000, most Americans would still not know how to spell Iraq. Seriously, North Carolina is rather right wing. Jesse Helms was elected Senator five times by North Carolinians. I went to law school at the University of North Carolina. The State is more southern than northern. Don't let the word "north" in North Carolina fool you. North Carolina's in the South. Remember, North Carolina was in the Confederacy. North Carolina allowed that carpetbagger, Liddy Dole, to win a Senate seat a few years ago. Did you see her letter to the nation a couple months ago? I bet she serves two or three terms from North Carolina. Regardless, GO HEELS! /john
