The day that the Demo's stop pandering to the far left and take on National Security with as much vigor as they took on Communism in the 50's and 60's, the Republicans will lose by a landslide IMO. Smithee and are were just talking about this on IM. Get rid of the Dean's, push the Kennedy's, Pelosi's, etc to the fringe where they ought to be and become the party of the Lieberman's and I would happily help vote today's Repub's out of office.

It's the only issue keeping the R's in power. They sure as hell aren't for small government or fiscal prudence so they can't call the D's the party of tax and spend anymore.
