Could Al Gore be the comeback kid? I'm sure the Republicans are praying for it more than the Democrats. Once dubbed "Ozone Man" by George H.W. Bush, Gore may have hit his stride after six years in hibernation by promoting his longtime passion, environmentalism Gee, you think Tom Friedman's new Green evangelism has a tie-in? Al Gore has provided so much material for his political enemies, I'm sure Rove is salivating. In January, he went to Saudi Arabia to talk about how the US had been rounding up Arabs "indiscriminately" and committing "abuses". Nice judgement of message and audience there, Al. Thanks a bunch. I'm sure there's a political ad to be made of that without trying too hard.
