"Personal Responsibility"...seems a concept unlikely to take root now days.
You may be right, LG.
Ultimately, though, personal responsibility will have its day, whether by choice (viz, the voluntary pursuit of freedom-oriented political and economic initiatives) or circumstance: the latter contemplating the eventual, assured collapse - as history has demonstrated time and time again - of rapidly expanding, collectivist states.
Even now, with gold rising and the US dollar falling, the effect of butter-and-guns paternalism is becoming evident.
The choice is ours, and it requires courage.
