He is a very smart man masked as an idiot. Extreme corrections may look bloodless on paper - but in the real world of people's lives they are hardly that. It is not enough to acknowledge that "totalitarian regimes and extreme ideologies are on the rise" without acknowledging that the trend reversal is based on human action: The trend reversal will not happen without human commitment.
