Along the lines of the previous post - see BCIT.

CEO claimed that shares were issued fraudulently, even forged and dumped on the market. After this comes out, the stock, which had tanked begins to run up quickly.

MM's and brokers panic. Eventually, the stock is halted and it looks like the CEO makes a deal such that classes of stock may be created and the counterfeit shares converted to cover the shorts on the books.

Who says that people can't work together?

At least, we see they can to screw retail investors.
