This year using much the same models, "For the 2006 north Atlantic hurricane season'

Last two years, here in the south of the Western Hemisphere, the weather was atypical. The winter went into Spring and Summer went into the Spring. Also in the Amazon jungle was not raining as much as usual for that time of the year. That coincided with the heavy hurricane season on the Gulf area.

This is year we are back to normal. Autumn started at the right time and the colder weather is acting as it is normal for this time of the year. Amazon jungle rain is also back to normal.

I'm not pretending to know more that the guys using super-computers but I think no abnormal heavy hurricane season.
