What are you doing about it? Are you pushing the government to filter out the iron out of the oceans?

I'm talking about it. And via my discussing it, I'm educating people like you who might never have heard about the issue, or were unfamiliar with the pros and cons.

Isn't that how ideas have always proliferated throughout our history??

If I had the capability to start the seeding process, I would immediately commence doing so at a larger experimental level in order to obtain more data. And if we don't find inordinately negative repercussions, then advance the program to the point that it makes a major difference.

And unlike trying to change the behavior of billions of human beings at the same time, it's something that might have an IMMEDIATE IMPACT at a very reasonable cost..

So what ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT???

Hopefully you'll start by carefully thinking about the proposal and then telling YOUR FRIENDS.. Who will then tell THEIR FRIENDS.. who will eventually tell THEIR REPRESENTATIVES in government.. who will then fund the effort.

After all, it's a politically savvy move by the US to counter the whole Kyoto controversy that doesn't require any technological or social changes from many of the major polluters (primarily in Asia)..

Just look what rice paddies contribute to global warming:
