And what about the CO2 and temperature records going back millions of years that clearly show a correlation between CO2 legels and average global temperatures? That is what science is all about. Sure sun spots and volcanoes influence our climate, but there is a clear correlation between CO2 legels and average global temperatures that can be demonstrated in many ways. This is why scientists take the recent rapid increase in CO2 levels seriously. Last time the CO2 levels were high enough to raise global temperatures by 3 or 4 C, sea levels were 80 feet higher. Now that is going to be a big problem if it happens again anytime soon.
