I deleted the global cooling article, as I noted (belatedly) that the date was 1975! Apparently the world was in a global cooling trend 1945-1975. Which makes me laugh at Gore's statement in his new movie that the hottest years on record are in the last 25 years! We don't have enough scientific data for worthwhile projections. I wish we did. If you want to clean up emissions because it's healthier and all that, I am on your side. I plant trees, recycle, do my best to conserve energy, and all that, because I think it's a Good Thing in and of itself. Shuttuing down US industries so they will relocate to China and India and pollute without restraint, I think that's nuts.
