What you said is absolute bunkum. You're just repeating nonsensical rightwing talking points. The scientific consensus is that there is global warming and that man is a major contributor to it.

To say that it is speculation is a lie.

In addition, to say that moving to non-fossil fuel sources of energy or moving to more efficient use of energy or conserving energy will cripple anything is also absurd in the face of near record (in real terms) gasoline prices is also ridiculous.

Even WalMart, that beacon of rampant capitalism is concerned about the transfer of their customer's wealth from WalMart to Exxon. At these prices, they're probably losing $10/customer/week of revenue.

Even Exxon understands how unsupportable their position is which is why their PR campaign against those against GW is full of obvious holes. They know the science is against them and they're worried that the politics will soon be against them as well.
