Funny, but now mainstream science is stating that we might have actually underestimated the potential global warming effect, not overstated as so many skeptic contend. I suspected we were underestimating the problem. There's an awful lot of CO2 locked up in the huge ice caps, tundra and soils around the world. As that gets released en mass it's going to cause a big positive feedpack, which means a whole lot more warming.
