AVANIR Completes the Acquisition of Alamo Pharmaceuticals

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 2006--AVANIR Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AVNR - News) announced today that it has completed its previously announced purchase of Alamo Pharmaceuticals, LLC (Alamo). The terms of the acquisition, including the purchase price, were announced May 23, 2006.
