Taurine, Proline, Arginine and Lysine are Aminos incorporated into the Pauling-Rath formula along with E, C and Selenium which is supposed to emulsify and help transport choleseterol back to the liver. I would think you would need excess Lecithin too.

Pauling theory.

Arginine is found in soy, peanuts, chocolate and walnuts in quantity. It is also found in many other foods. It is manufactured by the body as well, supposedly in sufficient quantities. Taurine and Arginine end up being anti-oxidants and interfering with platelet aggregation and monocyte adhesion to the endothelium. Lysine is suspected by Rath and Pauling as having a role there as well.
