To All: SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1997--Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:DIMD), a leader in Internet multimedia acceleration, today announced that Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) logo approval has been granted to several of its newest multimedia and communications products. The Diamond products that most recently passed WHQL compatibility testing include the Viper(R), model V330 media accelerator (PCI and AGP versions), the Fire GL 1000 Pro media accelerator (PCI and AGP versions) and the SupraExpress 56i Sp (speakerphone version). Hard to say how important this one is. Anyone know of other companies that have the official Microsoft seal of approval? I own STBI stock and haven't seen anything from them. What about Matrox, ATI, etc...
