Gus,

I'm sorry, as much as I'd like to rebutt some of your points, I've already said far more than I ever intended to say. I still have to make a living in this business.

Suffice to say that each of your posts seems to express an opinion based at least partly on inaccurate assumptions of the people involved and how the company operates.

Best of luck to you, and I sincerely hope that this company fixes it's problems and makes money for both of us.

Tony:

If I could predict which company's stock will do what, I sure as hell wouldn't be designing disk drives for a living.

I can only tell you I feel that WDC has their act together pretty well, but Seagate has the potential, if they take some action, to dominate the industry. They have the best technology and the most resources. I think it's inevitable that they will lose market share in the high end but they could do much better in the low end if they get their act together. I've made it very clear that I believe they need to make some changes. FYI, that opinion is not based on some vague perception left over from the past. Good Luck.
