Hey PT -- Yeah, although Ive been really busy over the last few months and haven't been able to play as much as I'd like. I stopped for about 30 years and when I picked up a guitar about 5-6 years ago and tried to play I couldn't do a thing. It was really a bummer. I put the thing down, but decided later, what the heck and started to try and regain some of what I'd lost. I'll never get it all back, but Im having a great time now. Nothing fancy, lots of blues stuff, old rock -- Yardbirds, simple Clapton, real early Stones. Great music to fool around with.
The Madeira is a nice sounding guitar -- lots of different tones. Its a super strat style, double humbuckers with a coil splitter. Very well played -- not exactly a looker. Its on sale at a local music store now for $139. They go on Ebay for 100-200. They are not common, not well known, but solidly made. Its from about 1980-81. M2
