tbevan,

Your George Soros post reminded me of a funny story. Back in '93, a friend and I were keeping a close watch on DELL, looking for a good entry point. We saw the stock get crushed from a high of ~$49 to ~$30, at which point my buddy jumped all over it. I thought the stock had a little more downside, I eventually got in at ~$25. Needless to say, the blood bath wasn't nearly complete. We rode the stock down to ~$15, and when it seemed all hope was lost(At the time a lot a people felt DELL was going into chapter 11), my friend came up with a brilliant idea. "Let's start the rumor that George Soros is buying DELL at this price levels." Of course it was joke and we never spread the rumor, but at around that point the stock firmed, moved a little higher and the rest is history. (DELL is now at $600 (after 3 [2 for 1] splits from that point [40 bagger]).

I hope this George Soros rumor signals a parallel in the JTS saga.
