InRob Penetrates Consumer Robotics Market
Thursday May 25, 10:30 am ET

LAS VEGAS, May 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- InRob Tech Ltd. (``InRob'') (OTC BB:IRBL.OB - News), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), today announced that it will establish a separate robotics-embedded consumer product line for the North American market.

Leveraging its extensive experience and cutting edge R&D in robotics for the military and homeland security markets, InRob Tech Ltd. (``InRob'') has expanded its focus to bring robotic technologies to the consumer marketplace. InRob develops and integrates sophisticated tele-robotics that adds autonomy, mobility, and control to consumer applications and products. InRob plans to expand its partnerships with select consumer manufacturers to build the next generation of consumer products.

``As robotic technologies have increasingly made their way into consumer products, domestic robots will become a commonplace part of our lives over the next decade,'' says InRob's Development Manager Shimon Shamai. ``There is virtually no limit to the range of consumer products that can benefit from InRob's cutting edge technologies and integration experience. InRob's innovative solutions make it possible to embed advanced robotic functionality to enhance mass-produced consumer goods. InRob will apply its wealth of knowledge and experience to drive forward in the next revolution of the robotics industry -- consumer robotics.''

One of the fastest growing segments of the robotics market, consumer robotics offers products such as home automation/domestic service robots, robotic vacuum cleaners, home security robots, hobbyist/education robots, entertainment robots, intelligent mobile toys, and robots that assist the disabled and elderly in the home. This multibillion dollar industry is poised for dramatic growth, with many analysts comparing consumer robotics to the early PC market. According to a report published by the UN Economic Commission for Europe, 4.1 million robots will be doing jobs in consumer homes by the end of 2007. American-based Consumer Electronic Association has identified specialized robots among the trends to watch in 2006.

The success of iRobot's domestic vacuuming robot is a clear indication of the vast potential of the consumer robotics market. Similarly to iRobot (NasdaqNM:IRBT - News), InRob gained its experience in military and security-related applications and its crossover into consumer market solutions is skillfully timed to match its innovative technologies with emerging consumer needs.
