Cost is now the distinguishing feature in the AMD vs INTC investment decision. Both make good enough products for nearly all applications. As I said after the silly Dell pop, the stock valuations will come back to ASP and margin.

I think Intel has already won the contest. It will take a few more weeks for fund managers to come around to this view. And when they do, Fidelity and its copy cats will already be out of their hundreds of millions of shares, and there will be 400m shares less in the float for new buyers to bid on.
