Yes, indeed.. Just finished watching the entire video..

Very realistic, and pretty objective view of the situation there.

It's not pretty, but war never is.

I especially liked the mention that gasoline is subsidized in Iraq and that leads to smuggling, from which the profits often are used to fund the insurgency.

It's not uncommon for the average Iraqi to face "protection scams" by the various armed militias and organized criminal elements in the country.

Also, quite telling was the highlight on Haifa street. I'm not quite sure when this video was filed, but Haifa street was a VERY BAD place to be at one time. There was constant fighting going on between the gangs who tried to control it, as well as insurgents (it was hard to tell the difference) who sought to have it as a means of directly targeting the Green Zone with mortars and rockets.

It's my understanding, as of last fall, that Haifa St. has been relatively "pacified".
