You're reading it all wrong: it's not the amount of time the machine takes to do the tasks, but the inverse of that: the number of tasks that the machine can perform in a constant amount of time.

Thus, the Umax can perform ~1100 operations in the same amount of time it takes a 6100/66 to perform 100 operations.
