Your reply rather begs the issue of 'Balance of Powers' that was DESIGNED into our political system by our founders as the *best* way to preserve our liberty and freedoms.

(It also raises the question of 'do the words of the Constitution mean what they PLAINLY seem to say?' Or, can the most fundamental of our laws be *ignored* anytime somebody finds it expedient to do so?)

Gee... to be *fair*... I WONDER what the Executive branch of our government would say if the LEGISLATIVE branch of our government asserted for itself the 'right' to search any offices of the Executive it so desired?

Can't you just HEAR the howling from here, Shorty?
