Actually in another post, i posed the possiblity of a regional grouping of israel, palestine and jordan as a more viable entity.

That's Shimon Peres' "New Middle East", a Benelux on the Jordan. Would be great if we can get democracies, or even just benevolent semi-dictatorships (in Jordan's case) going in the region.

But the PA needs to have its civil war first.
