The debt would be entirely erased in just a few years if we eliminated the IRS and all other federal taxes and replaced it with a flat consumption tax. Americans' (and by default, the federal coffers) would soon be bulging with more wealth than our forefathers ever dreamed of in their wildest moments.

They'd have to create new words for "rich."
