Merrill Lynch Ups ASML To Neutral From Sell >ASML Tuesday, May 23, 2006 Dow Jones Newswires Merrill Lynch upgraded Dutch chip equipment maker ASML Holding NV (ASML) to neutral from sell, citing valuation. "ASML's share price move, rather than a change in our estimates or view of the company, is the reason for our change in stance," the broker said. "To recommend selling the shares from these levels we'd either have to be predicting a downturn in the semiconductor cycle or a change in our view of ASML's competitive position or business model."
