I just read this week that Yugo-slavia was splitting apart into even more countries. Thinking about the PA problem made me consider the advantages of moe PA political units. How many people in Gaza have anything more in common with people from Rumallah than their programmed hatred for Israelis? Break what remains of Palestine into several countries and let them each elect governments. Some might lose thier political freedom, and others might thrive. It is the strong that lead. By definition the richer political units would be the one(s) with greater economic prosperity or foreign aid. Foreign aid usually comes with strings, and even Iran and Audi Arabia cannot afford to support the backwater forever. Economic freedom follows political freedom. Economic success is greater in economically free economies. Thus the PA units that chose to neglect their hatred and concentrate on exercising freedom would end up the leaders of a later combined country.
