There is a big difference between restraint on spending and having a situation of "every man for himself".

But that's why you guys vote for republicans...they have been neither restrained nor generous...unless you include corporate "charity"

You said they got nailed. The exact opposite happened.

They got crumbs...that's the same as getting nailed when the upper crust is getting a much larger share of the pie doled out by republicans.
