Bush and Enron were the almost same thing in 2000-2001. Enron may have sent a few checks to Lieberman types, but 90% of their focus and support was on making two oilmen president, and to celebrate Bush-cheney's nomination they started gouging the west coast in June 2000, leading all the Bushie energy companies in a mass looting which totalled 30 billion in complete ripoffs.

Bush-Cheney looked the other way, made excuses for them and never investigated. In fact they even used Enron's top PR lobbyist dirty trickster Ed Gillespie as their pointman to try and blame the gouging on democrats, then after Enron fell, promoted Gillespie to head the R%NC.
