The VC regular Kerry killed can plainly be seen the and B-40 rocket launcher is displayed. Then the "sliver wound" the rightwingers like Bozell and Malkin lied about required Kerry's arm in a sling four days after it happened. So obviously it was a real wound, and certainly Kerry didn't do it to himself.
