There's nothing wrong with feeling good about standing up. It's when you confuse it with working a plan and come to think that you can actually halt global warming by using fluorescent light bulbs that things start to go bonkers.

There are all kind of reasons for why people stand up for things. My guess is that all the bad reasons kind of cancel each other out and bad things that people stand up for will not get traction.

Going to war will inevitably be outlawed. It is only a matter of time.

Going green is also inevitable. Using fossil fuel for energy can not be sustained. How much time do you think it will last before we either run out or before we change our policies?

On these issues, you are either with us or against us. If you are against us, you are only going to help to slow up the inevitable. If that is what makes you feel good. Go ahead.
