For every buyer, there is a seller. Today, it seems there was ONE buyer, and a few hundred sellers.
I looked at the details on the trade(s), and they DO NOT support your assumption.
At the open, somebody bought 194,000 shares, then the bulk of it was traded in blocks of 25-30,000 shares. By 10AM the the stock went on a downward trend as tons of people unloaded stock in 1,000 - 10,000 share trades.
By this data, it seems to me that some poor schmuck drove the price up with a big buy, which allowed the small investors to bail out!
I don't have level-2 support for trading information, but if somebody has access to that data, then we can figure out if the stock is in play by any institutions. |
